Description
I. INTRODUCTION
A. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Parts 12.6 and 13, as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This announcement constitutes the on ly solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
B. The combined synopsis and Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is: TARENG02608.
C. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and c lauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005 18, Effective 30 Jun 2007.
D. The NAICS code applicable to this acquisition is 334515.
E. Basis for award Award shall be made on a sole source basis to Bitrode Corpo ration based in Fenton, MO, for the components that are required. A commonality is sought between the existing systems components and the components we are procuring.
II. GENERAL
A. The United States Army Tank and Automotive Research, Devel opment and Engineering Center (TARDEC) in Warren, Michigan has a requirement for the following items, part numbers and quantities:
1. One (1) each Bitrode Model DTV1-2000-24 with the following options: continuous duty, zero volt discharge, temperat ure as a limit, Type J thermocouple, and cell voltage monitoring
2. One (1) each Spare Parts kit
3. One (1) each Host computer Windows cycling software
4. One (1) each VisuaLCN Network Hardware Package
5. One (1) each VisuaLCN Software Pack age
6. Shipping and insurance
7. One (1) each Bitrode Model LCV3-100-36 with the following options: temperature monitoring, Type J Thermocouple, and high impedance voltage.
8. One (1) each Spare Parts Kit
9. Shipping and insurance
B. Quotations must be received by TACOM no later than 12:00 PM (noon) EST, 2 April 2008. Email quotations to michael.christiansen@conus.army.mil. Contractors must be listed in the Central Contractor Registry prior to receiving an award. Refer to website www.ccr.gov for registration information.
C. Questions are requested via email, addressed to MAJ Michael Christiansen at michael.christiansen@conus.army.mil.
