The work consists of the following:
DIVISION ONE
Two Sanitary Sewer Lift Stations including all pumps and controls, electrical system, piping and appurtenances.
Approximately 6,000 Linear Feet of 8 and 7,000 Linear Feet of 16 PVC sanitary sewer force mains, including all fittings, valves, and appurtenances.
Approximately 1,200 Linear Feet of 10 and 14,000 Linear Feet of 16 PVC water mains, including all fittings, valves, and appurtenances.
DIVISION TWO
Approximately 4,000 L.F. of concrete storm drain piping.
Approximately 900 LF of 10: and 12 PVC waterlines.
Approximately 11,000 SY of asphaltic concrete and associated roadway grading and bedding.
Sealed proposals will be received until 1:30 PM on Wednesday, August 6, 2008. The names of the respondents will be read aloud at 1:30 PM of the same day and no further bids will be accepted. The Minority Employment Provisions will be evaluated and those bids found to be in compliance with the Minority Employment Provisions shall be opened and read aloud at 1:30 PM on Tuesday, August 12, 2008.
The MWBE goal for this project is 24%, 12% minority and 12% women. |
