In accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management System (AMS) 3.2.1.3.12.2 and pursuant to AMS T3.8.4, the FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center (WJHTC) intends to procure and install two cubicles from Federal Prison Industries (UNICOR). The workstations will be located on the second floor of Building 300 at the WJHTC. The required UNICOR products are compatible and offer interchangeability with existing standardized components that are currently in use at the WJHTC. The Government has determined that UNICOR products and services represent the overall best value in terms of price, quality, and time of delivery for this requirement.
This is not a request for competitive proposals, since a competitive solicitation is not available for this requirement. Additionally, funds are not currently available for this procurement.
