Synopsis:

In accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management System (AMS) 3.2.1.3.12.2 and pursuant to AMS T3.8.4, the FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center (WJHTC) intends to procure office chairs from Federal Prison Industries (UNICOR). The office chairs will be located at various locations on the first, second and fourth floors at the WJHTC. The required UNICOR products are compatible and offer interchangeability with existing standardized components that are currently in use at the WJHTC. The Government has determined that UNICOR products and services represent the overall best value in terms of price, quality, and time of delivery.

This is not a request for competitive proposals, since a competitive solicitation is not available for this requirement. Additionally, funds are not currently available for this procurement.
