THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE REQUESTING INFORMATION IN SUPPORT OF THE FOLLOWING POTENTIAL REQUIREMENT. This is NOT a Request for Quote (RFQ) or an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation, nor is it a request seeking contractors for placement on a solicitation mailing list. No contract will be awarded from this announcement. The Directorate of Contracting (DOC) at Fort Carson, Colorado, is seeking businesses capable of providing a Joule Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE) system brand name or equal. The system shall perform job specific functional capacity evaluations and work conditioning. FCE shall have an integrated computer system capable of printing out reports with the ability to compare multiple reports. Work conditioning software must document client evaluation, daily notes documentation and instantaneous report generation. FCE must be capable of comparing various job demands. FCE shall allow evaluators to make and store custom functional capacity evaluations. Training on the FCE shall be provided. No final commitment has been made to procure the stated requirement and this sources sought notice should not be construed as a commitment or authorization to incur costs in anticipation of such procurement. Contractors shall not be reimbursed for providing this information; therefore, DOC Fort Carson will accept the requested information in whatever format it is provided. All information provided will become property of the U. S. Army and will not be returned. Responses are requested by 9:00 am Mountain Time on 8 September 2008 and should include a point of contact, phone number, fax number, email address and Cage Code.
