PUBLIC NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI)

For

Drug & Violence Prevention Services For At Risk Youth

No. RFI-HMS-501-08-09

The purpose of this request for information is to obtain community input in preparation for preparing a request for proposals (RFP) to procure drug and violence prevention services for at risk youth.

A copy of the grant information and authorized activities may be requested via email or by clicking on the additional information posted with the public notice at: http://www4.hawaii.gov/spoh/HealthandHumanServicesProcurementNotices.htm

Interested schools, community-based organizations, public entities and private organizations, consortia of these agencies, community members, and/or concerned individuals may provide suggestions, comments and feedback for consideration for the scope of work and RFP requirements by fax, mail, or email by April 3, 2008.

The OYS will also gather input and comments at a general meeting to be held on April 1, 2008 from 12:45 p.m. 3:00 p.m. at Haseko Center, 6th floor, Conference Room 2, 820 Mililani Street, Honolulu.

Participation in the RFI process is optional and is not required in order to respond to any subsequent procurement by the OYS. Neither OYS nor any interested party responding to this RFI has any obligation under the RFI. OYS may engage in further informal discussions to gather additional information and recommendations to assist in developing the RFP.
