Packaging Requirement: Packaging and markings as stated on AFMC Form 158 IAW AFMCFARS 5352.247-9009 with Special Military Packaging Instructions IAW DD 2169. Qualification requirements: Qualifications requirements are set forth in the OC-ALC Source Approval Information Booklet. Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. Qualified source(s) are; Honeywell Aircraft, CAGE: 59364 and Israel Aircraft Ind., CAGE: SC705. Initial Production Evaluation Requirements (IPE): IPE will be required. IPE may be waived by Engineering Evaluation of awardee. The approximate issue date of RFQ will be 21 MAY 2008. Written procedure will be used for this solicitation and posted on FedBizOps. Only written or faxed request s received directly from the requestors are acceptable. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered. Authority: 10 USC 2304(C)(1). Justification: Supplies (or Services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within forty-five (45) days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacture meets qualification requirements at the time of the award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements as sited in each individual solicitation.
