The County of Lehigh will receive sealed bids until 4:00 P.M. Local Time, August 6, 2008, and will publicly open said bids after 10:00 A.M. Local Time, August 7, 2008, for work in conjunction with the OLD VILLAGE ROAD BRIDGE REPLACEMENT PROJECT. The project includes the following major items of work:

1. Existing bridge removal.

2. Bridge replacement with a precast concrete multi-segment culvert with precast concrete wingwalls (to be supplied).

3. Erosion and sediment pollution control work.

4. Repaving of Old Village Road within the work limits.

5. Guiderail removal and replacement.

Plans and specifications may be secured by 1) applying to Alfred Benesch and Company with a non-refundable payment of $60.00 per set (check only) for mail delivery; 2) picking up at Alfred Benesch and Company's Allentown office with a non-refundable payment of $50.00 per set (check only); or 3) downloadable from the County € s website via the View/Print option below, for no charge. Checks are to be made payable to Alfred Benesch and Company and delivered to 1550 Pond Road, Suite 201, Allentown, PA 18104.

A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at the site on July 31, 2008, commencing at 10:00 A.M.
