NOTICE INVITATION FOR BIDS FOR OFFICE PAPER SUPPLIES IFB NO. CDC08-370
Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Community Development Commission of the County of Los Angeles (Commission) until Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. for office paper supplies. This will include furnishing all labor, material and equipment, and performing all work necessary and incidental in accordance with the Commission s Statement of Work (SOW) and contract documents. The Commission may award multiple one-year contracts with the option of two, one-year extensions, provided services are satisfactory and funds are available.
Copies of the Invitation for Bid (IFB) complete with submission requirements and the bid sheet, will be available on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at 12:00 p.m. The IFB package may be requested at no charge to be received via U.S. mail, by calling Norma Guest at (323) 838-7772, may also be examined at the Community Development Commission, Reception Desk, 2 Coral Circle, Monterey Park, CA 91755-7425 or may be downloaded from the Community Development Commission s website at www.lacdc.org, under Doing Business with Us View Open Solicitations .
Bidders shall provide one (1) original and a copy of their bid, which shall be delivered and addressed to:

All bids shall be labeled Office Paper Supplies, IFB NO. CDC08-370, March 5, 2008 . Any bidder who wishes their bid to be considered, is responsible for making certain that their bid is received the above stated date and time.
No oral, electronic, facsimile, or telephonic bids or modifications will be considered unless specified. Bids received after the scheduled deadline will be returned unopened. Bidders, who, upon request, receive the Invitation for Bids package and do not wish to submit a bid, should reply with a letter of No Bid by the deadline indicated above.

In submitting a bid, each bidder thereby agrees that, if awarded a contract, it shall execute a standard contract, a sample of which is attached to the IFB package for reference. The Commission shall not award a contract to, or be obligated to execute a contract with, any bidder who refuses to execute said standard Commission contract.
The Commission reserves the right to reject any and all bids. This IFB is not a contract or commitment of any kind. The Commission is not liable for costs incurred in the preparation of the respondent s bid. It reserves the right to issue supplementary information or guidelines related to this IFB. Notwithstanding any other provisions herein, the Commission reserves the right in its sole discretion to waive minor technical deficiencies in the Bids.
