This notice posted to meet the requirements of FAR 5.10(12). The General Services Administration, Public Buildings Service (GSA/PBS) intends to enter into contract with the following Memberships on a sole source basis.
Under the authority of FAR 6.302-3 (ii): Industrial mobilization; engineering, developmental, or research capability, or expert services GSA/PBS intends to enter into the following Membership contracts. Carnegie Mellon for Membership for the Advanced Building Systems Integration Consortium (ABSIC), University of California at Berkeley for Berkeley s Center for the Built Environment (CBE) membership, The Real Estate Executive Board for Membership in the Real Estate Executive Board Program (REEB). GSA/PBS also intends to enter into Memberships with The Executive Network for Executive Networks membership for Workplace Innovation and Performance Network (WIPN), and the New Ways of Working Network for Membership in the New WOW interactive network of organizational Innovators.
This proposed contract action is for services that the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-3 (ii) Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. However, small businesses are encouraged to apply. The Government will consider all responses received by 2:00PM EST, Friday, July 25, 2008. Information received will be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Inquiries only accepted by E-Mail or FAX.
