Synopsis:

The Social Security Administration intends to negotiate solely with B I MOYLE ASSOCIATES, INC. formerly CSI Fantom Systems, 8120 State Route 138, Williamsport, Ohio 43164 under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.301-1 "Sole Source Acquisitions" for upgrades and maintenance to SSA s existing VSUM/MVS software site license. The upgrades are for IBM mainframe Systems 81 84 and 91 92.



The Government anticipates the award of a five-year, firm-fixed price purchase order with a base period and four option periods with a possible total increase of 2700 MSUs. The period of performance shall be from October 1, 2008 through September 30, 2013. Written responses to this synopsis shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bonafide capability to fulfill this requirement. A solicitation is not available; therefore, written and/or verbal requests for copies of a solicitation related to this announcement will not be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This is NOT a Request for Proposal and the Government does not intend to pay for information submitted. Requests for copies of a solicitation will not be honored or acknowledged. Respondents will NOT be notified of the results of the information received. Responses to this notice must be submitted by September 19, 2008 by 12:00 PM EST. Responses may be sent via E-MAIL ONLY to the point of contact listed below. NO PHONE CALLS OR FAXES WILL BE ACCEPTED. No submissions may exceed 5MB.
