The Federal Bureau of Prisons, U.S. Medical Center for Federal Prisoners, Springfield, Missouri, intends to make a single award for the provision of Post-Mix Bag in Box
Non-carbonated Beverages and Coffee. The anticipated performance period will begin on October 1, 2008, and will conclude on September 30, 2009. The Post-Mix Bag in Box Non-carbonated Beverages should be a 19 to 1 ratio and should be packaged in a 5 gallon or 3 gallon box. The beverages must be Kosher, Vitamin C fortified and sugar free (safe for people with diabetes). An estimated quantity of our annual requirements is 840 cases. We are also requesting 60 cases of regular coffee and 48 cases of decaffeinated coffee. Deliveries will be scheduled on a monthly basis. The contractor shall adhere to the delivery schedule established in the solicitation. Vendors should include a list of all flavors offered in their quotation. Additionally, we require three (3), 150 lb capacity ice dispensers, three (3) fountain dispensers with a six (6) heads per machine and a water dispenser on each machine and one (1) fountain dispenser with four (4) heads. The ice dispensers, and fountain machines shall be maintained by the vendor. Deliveries will be made to the U.S. Medical Center for Federal Prisoners, 1900 West Sunshine Street, Springfield, Missouri, 65807. The contract type is a firm-fixed price. The Government will award to the responsible contractor whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is considered to be most advantageous to the Government based on price related factors only. The solicitation will be available on or about August 5, 2008, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The anticipated date for receipt of quotations is on or about August 19, 2008. Payments will be made using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). All contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. Per FAR 52.212-3, each offeror may complete their representations and certifications via the Online Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov. If an offeror has not completed the annual representation and certifications online, then the offeror shall submit a hard-copy with their quotation. Faith-Based and Community Based Organizations have the right to submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts.
