Description
The purpose of this amendment is to clarify the response date. The due date for quotes in response to this RFQ is Monday, February 4, 2008 at 1:00PM.

PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE ISSUED. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information in this request. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This procurement is being conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation parts 12 and 13. The Federal Bureau of Investigation is issuing this acquisition as a Request for Quote (RFQ) under solicitation number 152392002. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 423430, Computer and Computer Peripheral Equipment and Software Merchant Wholesalers.
The resultant contract will be a firm-fixed price contract. Brand name or equal items will be accepted. If an equal product is proposed then the quote must include to product specifications to show that it is an "equal" product. The requirement is for the following equipment:

Quotes shall include all shipping costs as applicable. All deliveries under this requirement will be FOB destination. Responses shall be submitted via electronic submission to Lauren Yates at lgyates@fbiacademy.edu. The due date for responses to this RFQ is on or before February 1, 2008 at 1:00 pm Eastern Daylight Time. Responses must be marked as follows: "RFQ 152392002." ALL QUESTIONS REGARDING THIS REQUIREMENT MUST BE SUBMITTED TO LAUREN YATES VIA EMAIL. Quotes shall include a point of contact, contractor DUN?s number and TIN number.
This RFQ incorporates the provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulation Circular 2005-22. The provision at FAR Clause 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors (Nov 2007) and addendum are incorporated into this solicitation. Addendum to 52.212-1, Modify: (b) Submission of offer(s) is to read as follows: "Submit offers electronically to lgyates@fbiacademy.edu." Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items is incorporated by reference. This requirement will be awarded to the low price technically acceptable (LPTA) offeror. MULTIPLE AWARDS MAY BE CONSIDERED. Provision 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items is incorporated. Contractors may submit their online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at the following government portal: http://orca.bpn.gov.
