Synopsis:

PROJECT DETAILS: This project will consist of reconstruction, bridges, drainage, and bituminous surfacing on 3.870 km of roadway on NV PRA LAME 1(1), Northshore Road in Lake Mead National Recreation Area, Clark County, Nevada. The estimated price range is $9,000,000 to $12,000,000.

This project contains one schedule and two options. Principal work items on the schedule include: lump sum contractor testing; lump sum construction schedule; 5,300 m of silt fence for soil erosion control; 6,500 m3 of watering for dust control; removal of 1 structure; removal of 21,200 m2 of asphalt pavement; 82,000 m3 of roadway excavation; 4,200 m3 of subexcavation; 10,100 m3 of suitable waste; 13,000 m2 of roadway obliteration; 7,200 m3 of placed riprap, various class; 14,000 tons of aggregate base; 8,400 tons of hot asphalt concrete pavement; 1,400 tons of open-graded asphalt friction course; 987 m3 of structural concrete; 787 m of precast, prestressed concrete AASHTO girders; 33,816 kg of reinforcing steel; 139,037 kg of epoxy coated reinforcing steel; 287 m of drilled shafts, various diameters; 55 m3 of concrete; 173 m of pipe culvert (various size); 91 m of precast reinforced concrete box culverts (various span); 230 m of concrete guardwall; 413 m of concrete parapet; 4800 hours of traffic control (flagger and pilot car); along with associated survey and staking; equipment; labor; and pavement markings.
