NOTICE INVITING BIDS (N2M8-29)
DEMOLITION OF EXISTING BUILDINGS AT 231, 239 AND 249 WEST MAIN STREET

The project involves the following: Demolition of existing buildings located at 231, 239 and 249 West Main Street, Alhambra, CA 91801, including all above ground structures, foundations, parking lots, asphalt pavement, underground utility service connections (lines) from street property line to the buildings (water, power, gas, sewer, drainage, etc.); removal and disposal of all demolition and construction debris; construction of a pedestrian barricade over the sidewalk along Main Street; fencing and sandbagging the site prior to commencement of work; and rough grading of remaining vacant land to an elevation 2 below adjacent existing adjacent ground level elevations
Deadline for Submission of Bids: Thursday, June 19, 2008. Bids must be received by 10:30 a.m. and will be publicly opened at 11:00 a.m. on the same date. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled to provide information and answer questions. The pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at 231, 239 and 249 West Main Street, the job site, at the north-east corner of Third and Main Streets in the City of Alhambra. Attendance at this meeting by the bidder is a mandatory requirement for acceptance of a bid form from that contractor. For additional information, click here.
