REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS GENERAL CONTRACTORS
TOWN OF PICTOU - MUNICIPALITY OF THE COUNTY OF PICTOU
The Town of Pictou is requesting submissions from interested general contracting firms for the purpose of pre-qualifying potential tenderers. Sub-contractors need not respond.
Sealed Submissions, plainly marked on the envelope "Request for Qualifications - General Contractors, Town of Pictou Wastewater Treatment and Collection Project", will be received by the Chief Administrative Officer, Town of Pictou, 40 Water Street, P.O. Box 640, Pictou NS, B0K 1H0, up to 2:00 p.m., local time, Tuesday, June 24, 2008.

The proposed facility is a sequencing batch reactor (SBR) wastewater treatment plant. The construction work generally consists of site work, concrete foundations and tankage, building erection, supply and installation of process equipment, instrumentation and controls, mechanical and electrical services, a marine outfall, sewage lift stations, forcemains and gravity sewer work.
General Contractors must participate in this request for qualification process to be considered for the future tender.
