NUWCDIVNPT has a requirement to develop, acquire and test AN/BQN-13 revisions to the currently manufactured AN/BQN-13A (Distress Pinger) for installation on new Virginia class hulls. A firm fixed price contract is anticipated for a prototype (qty. 1), first articles (qty. 2). An option for level 3 drawings (1 Job) and an option for eight (8) production units will be included. This requirement is unrestricted and unclassified. NAICS code is 334511, size standard is 500 employees. Evaluation Factors: Technical Approach and Past Performance. Vendor must be JCP certified (http://www.dlis.dla.mil/default.asp) to receive specifications. Specifications will be provided and sent under separate cover upon the release of solicitation #N66604-08-R-1961, which is anticipated to be on or about 06/02/2008. Required delivery is mths.
