The
Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) in conjunction
with The Office of The Chief Procurement Officer (OCPO) intends
to conduct Industry Day for interested vendors who may be interested
in submitting a Request for Proposal (RFP) for HUD's upcoming project
in HUD's auditorium located at 451 7th Street, SW, Washington, DC
20410, on May 12, 2008 @ 10:00am - 12:00pm. Due to the limited capacity
of the auditorium, it is the intent of HUD to conduct an additional
Industry Day which will be announced at a later date.
OCPO
anticipates advertising a RFP for the acquisition of Single Family
Management and Marketing (M&M); services. The contract services being
sought involve management of Single Family (1-4 unit) properties
owned by, or in the custody of HUD and to market other HUD-owned
Single Family properties reflecting the following NAICS Code: 541611,
531210, 531320, 531311 and 531390.
These
services are currently provided by thirteen private sector contractors
operating in 22 contract areas throughout the United States (US)
and the Caribbean (CAR). On July 31, 2009, the aforementioned M&M;
contracts' last option period will expire. The Office of Single
Family Housing's Asset Management Division along with HUD Home Ownership
Center (HOC) Directors has recommended that the Department prepare
to compete these contracts again.
Seating
is limited to 250 for this event; please respond no later than May
19, 2008 by submitting a completed Registration Form, via email
or fax.
