THIS IS A SYNOPSIS/PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. This solicitation will not be released until on or about 14 July. Letterkenny Army Depot has a requirement for the successful offeror to provide This specification is for a replacement test stand using up-to-date equipment and systems. It shall perform the tests, accumulate the test data, and provide the documentation for tracking the history of the hoist being tested. The specification is based on the performance requirements of the current Depot Maintenance Work Requirement, DMWR 9-1425-646-10&P,; dated 21 July 2004. The NAICS code is 334519 with a size standard of 500. Official release of the Request for Proposal (RFP) will be posted on the internet at the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) web site located at the following address: https//acquisition.army.mil. The on-line version of the RFP includes all documents of the solicitation package. No hard copy of this RFP will be issued, and no mailing list will be maintained because the acquistion will be posted on the above website. Amendments, if any, will be posted at the same location as the solicitation. The complete solicitation package, including amendments should be received and reviewed prior to submitting a response. It is the responsibility of those responding to the solicitation to obtain all amendments and/or other applicable documents. It i s anticipated that this solicitation will be issued on or about 14 July 2008. The solicitation will contain the actual due date for receipts of the offers. All respondents shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), have a valid DUNS number, Cage Code, and Tax Identification Number.
