Synopsis:

The FAA intends to award a contract on a single source basis to Johnson Controls of Salt lake City, UT. The contract will provide upgrades to the existing Johnson Controls, Inc. Metasys system at the Salt Lake City Air Route Traffic Control Center to a Metasys Extended Architecture System to include new hardware, firmware, and software based on the Design-Build Request for Proposal.

The estimated price range of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000.

A competitive solicitation is unavailable for this effort. The requirement is being processed using limitation of sources to a single source as provided for under the FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) Sections 3.2.2.2 and 3.2.2.4 Any questions must be submitted in writing to mark.b.payne@faa.gov, 1601 Lind Ave S.W., Renton, WA 98057, prior to August 26, 2008.
