The Maryland Environmental Service is seeking expressions of interest from qualified automobile and truck dealers to supply unscheduled vehicle requirements on an as needed basis. The Service plans to establish a short list of automotive/truck dealers to contact for delivery and pricing on specific vehicle(s) as the need for those vehicles arises. It is the Service s intent to award a vehicle purchase to the responsible dealer offering an available vehicle that meets or exceeds the Service s minimum requirements at the lowest price. The duration of the Short List is one year. The Service estimates individual purchase transactions will be completed within five days from inception. Qualifications for inclusion on the short list are: 1.Manufacturer s authorized dealer/distributor for the vehicle make and model specified. 2.Demonstrated capability to prepare a vehicle for delivery within twenty-four hours of order placement. 3.Capability to complete title and registration transactions. 4.If a State vehicle contract supplier, previous satisfactory performance on State of Maryland vehicle contracts. The Service reserves the right to contact additional dealers on any transaction where pricing or availability from short list firms is not competitive. Interested dealers are invited to submit an Expression of Interest on their letterhead and provide the name, address, phone and facsimile numbers, e-mail address, and the name of a representative who is authorized to act on behalf of the dealer.
