Synopsis:

This posting constitutes the United States Military Academy's notice of intent to award on a sole source basis a purchase order to The MathWorks, Inc., 3 Apple Hill Drive, Natick, MA 01760, to provide the Informational and Educational Technology Division of the Office of the Dean a MATLAB software license renewal. The MathWorks is the only source that publishes MATLAB software and provides annual maintenance and license renewals for their products. The award amount is estimated to be $28,367. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement. The applicable NAICS code is 511210 and the size standard is $23m. This notice of intent is not a request for quotation or a solicitation of offers. See Numbered Note 22. Insert two days in lieu of 45 days. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement upon receipt of response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. There will be no solicitation available.
