Description
SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS, INCLUDING DRAWINGS, WILL BE AVAILABLE ON THE FEDTEDS WEBSITE (www.fedteds.gov). Provide all materials, equipment, supplies, labor, and incidentals to replace the existing 500kV group-operated disconnect switch ZU1/4320 with su rge resistors and grounding switch, and the surge resistors of the existing 500kV group-operated disconnect switch ZU2/4853 at the Lower Monumental Powerhouse. This will include but not be limited to the following: (a.) Preparation of new mounting provisi ons for a 500kV group-operated disconnect switch with surge resistors and manual grounding switch to fit in place of the existing 500kV hydraulic group-operated disconnect switch with surge resistors and grounding switch, to match existing connection point s of the new switch terminals to the existing aluminum tubular buses. ( b.) Remove and dispose of one (1) existing 500kV group-operated disconnect switch with grounding switch, surge resistors, and hydraulic operator, complete with hydraulic fluid and pip ing. (c.) Furnish and install a new 500kV 2000 ampere motorized group-operated disconnect switch with electric operators and surge resistors, and a manual grounding switch in place of the existing 500kV hydraulic group-operated disconnect switch, and recon nect to the existing aluminum tubular bus. (d.) Furnish and install a 120 volt AC feeder from the indicated source to the disconnect switch operators, and empty spare conduits with pull wires to the Control Room.
