The purpose of this modification is to add additional salient characteristics. The original synopsis lists salient characteristics for the X-Ray Machine. This modification will list the salient characteristics for the X-Ray System. Information and instructions per original synopsis STILL APPLY.
SALIENT CHARACTERISTICSLow Energy X-Ray System
CR Imaging Plate Reader and Input Terminal Standalone system for capturing, storing and viewing images, including the imaging plate reader itself and all computer hardware and software required. Reading resolution of 50 micron meter and 100 micron meter Compatible with imaging plates size up to 14 x 17 in (35 x 43 cm) Reading Grey Scale of 12bits/pixel minimum Reading cycle time of less than 2 minutes for a 50 micron meter, 14 x 17 inch IP. Imaging plate reader must load, scan, erase and eject the imaging plate without requiring the user to directly handle the imaging plate. Imaging plates shall be contained within a protective cassette when loaded into the reader. Imaging plate reader must automatically read a serial number or other unique identifier from the imaging plate and store this information in the image file header
Acquisition Workstation Shall have the ability to archive images over a gigabit Ethernet network in addition to rewriteable DVD or DVD-RAM in DICONDE or DICOM format 5 Mega-Pixel Flat Panel Display Must be able to enter or modify study or component data information prior to permanent archival of images. Must be able to apply and modify contrast and edge enhancement filtering on images Must allow the user to modify the density and contrast of the image in addition to application of zoom
Imaging Plates Ten (10) 14 x 17 imaging plates with protective cassettes, compatible with 50 micron resolution Two (2) 14 x 17 imaging plates with protective cassettes, compatible with 100 micron resolution
Image Review Workstation Standalone computer system capable of viewing and analyzing images captured by the acquisition workstation. Shall have the ability to access images over a gigabit Ethernet network in addition to DVD or DVD-RAM in DICONDE or DICOM format Must be able to enter or modify study or component data information prior to permanent archival of images. Must be able to apply and modify contrast enhancement filtering on images Shall be able to archive images over a gigabit Ethernet network in addition to rewriteable DVD or DVD-RAM 5 Mega-pixel flat panel display
