The Logan Peak Project consist of construction of approx. 3.0 miles of single lane native material surfacing road and the obliteration of approx. 3.2 miles. The work involves restoration of a stream channel, clearing and grubbing, excavation, rounding cut slopes, intercepting dips, log and cross slope waterbars, riprap, drainage culverts, and seeding. The Millville Peak Rd FS #20168 construction site is located approx. 19 miles from the mouth of Logan Canyon (Hwy 89). 8.5 of those miles are along Hwy 89 and the rest are from the intersection of Right Hand Fork and Hwy 89. Plan on approx. 1 hour to the site from the mouth of the canyon. Site visit scheduled for August 05, 2008 at 10:00 am. Meet at the Logan Ranger District Office 1500 East Highway 89 Logan, UT 84321. This is a HubZone Set-Aside. Government estimates this project between $100,000 and $250,000. Solicitation will be uploaded on approx July 15, 2008.
