This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial supply prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. This is a Request For Quote (RFQ) and the solicitation number is W911S1-09-T-0002. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26 effective 12 June 2008. FedBizOps Numbered Notes per FAR Part 5.207-13(e) apply: 12 and 13. The North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) is 531120, Lessors of Nonresidential Buildings (except Miniwarehouses). The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 7011, Hotels and Motels. This requirement is being solicited as a small business set-aside and the size standard is $7.0M. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded.

This requirement is for the use of twelve hotel/motel rooms from 10 October 2008 to 15 November 2008 at Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Twelve military personnel will utilize these hotel/motel rooms with one person utilizing each room. Each room must include at a minimum the standard items/products provided by any national chain or local hotel/motel: 1) At a minimum a double bed, 2) Working functional bathroom to include working bathroom sink, shower and/or bathtub, 3) Working toilet. All military personnel WILL STAY at ONE LOCATION. The dates listed above MUST BE AVAILABLE for all personnel without interruption. All proposals that quote an Equal MUST MEET ALL of the above criteria. Award will be made to the quotation which offers the best value to the government. The Government also reserves the right to make no award at all.
