NOTES: The work covered under this subcontract shall consist of the labor, equipment, materials, tools, transportation and incidentals necessary for: Providing a rate per gallon for transporting leachate from the closed Cook County Sanitary Landfill (U.S. Forestry Road 304, Grand Marais, MN 55604) to the Western Lake Sanitary Sewer District, Duluth, MN for disposal. There is one 10,000 gallon tank onsite. Typical monthly leachate hauling rates have been 6500 gallons; no leachate hauling is performed during the winter months. A vacuum truck is required to pump the leachate out of the tank.
