CONDITIONING, JOB NO. Q55001-07 , as posted on the State Procurement Office Web Site
www.spo.hawaii.gov has been postponed to
2:00 P.M., June 25, 2008 and will then and there be
opened and publicly read aloud. Bids
received after the time fixed for opening will not be considered.

will be received at the Department of Education, Procurement and Contracts
Branch, Waipahu Civic Center, 94-275 Mokuola Street, Room 200, Waipahu, Hawaii 96797 or at the Maui District Office,
Department of Accounting and General Services, 755 Mua Street, Kahului, Maui.
The bid document, including
drawings, and specifications will be available on compact disk and can
be obtained from Hawaii Planz Administrators, Inc., 2929 Koapaka Street,
Honolulu, Hawaii 96819, telephone number 808-838-7526. One CD per company will be made available at
no charge to the company; any additional CD(s) and/or hard copy(ies) will be provided for a fee payable to Hawaii Planz
Administrators, Inc.
Sealed bids will be received up to and opened at 2:00 p.m., H.S.T. on June 7, 2008, 2008. Bids received
after this established date and time shall not be considered.
This project is subject to Hawaii Product Preference (HAR Chapter 3-124 Subchapter 1). The Hawaii Product List may be examined at
the State Procurement Office or online at www.hawaii.gov/spo/SPO/Code/index_html.
To be eligible to submit a bid, the Bidder must possess a
valid State of Hawai i Contractor s license
classification B.
The work generally consists of building demolition, insulation,
installation of package air conditioning and dehumidifying systems, carpentry,
window and solar tube installation, roofing, electrical work, painting and
other related work for Portables 1-5, 7-12, TB-1 & 2 and Buildings D, E, G,
H, I and the Cafeteria.
The estimated construction cost is between $1 million and $5
million.
An intention to bid is NOT required
for this project.
A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will
be held at 2:00 p.m., H.S.T. on June 4, 2008 at the Lokelani Intermediate School, Cafetorium Building, 1401 Liloa
Drive, Kihei, HI 96753.
A site visit will immediately follow the meeting. Bidders are advised that no other pre-bid
meeting will be scheduled or allowed.
All bids shall be completed in accordance
with the accompanying General Notice.
