Construction of a new Carrier Annex Postal Facility, Lawrenceville, GA located on Winer Industrial Way NW. The building will contain approximately 6,500 sq ft of floor space. The work includes, but is not limited to, concrete, carpentry, modified bitumen roofing, insulation, hollow metal doors, metal studs, gyp board, ceramic tile, resilient flooring, vinyl composition tile flooring, carpet, painting, store fixtures, landscaping, electrical, mechanical, utilities and other work associated with postal facilities. Contractors will be evaluated based on references showing similar construction experience. Reference is made to Clause B-38, Accident Prevention. All construction work on projects must be performed in compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) of 1970. If the USPS is fined for OSHA violations caused by the contractor, the contractor shall pay the fine or reimburse the USPS for the amount of the fine. The subcontracting goals for this contract is a minimum of 10% for minority-owned businesses, a minimum of 40% for small business enterprises, and minimum of 7% for women-owned businesses in accordance with solicitation Section H.20. Participation with women owned businesses and minority owned businesses is encouraged.
Minimum Years in Business: Your company must have been in business, under the firm s present name, for a minimum of five (5) consecutive years.
