The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Gifford Pinchot National Forest in Vancouver, Washington intends to procure one 30kVA Liebert NX Three-Phase Uninterruptible Power Supply and one Three Breaker 125-Amp Maintenance Bypass Panelboard(s), meeting the specifications listed below. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. All proposals must be submitted by May 30, 2007.
The solicitation number for this project is AG-05K3-S-07-0026 and is being issued as a Request For Quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-16.
This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a service disabled-veteran / small business set-aside. The applicable NAICS code is 423610 with corresponding size standard of 100 employees.

ITEM 1 = Liebert NX Single Module UPS System, three-phase Uninterruptible Power Supply,
Model No. 38SA030C0CHJA10, Quantity = 1, Unit = Lump Sum
Provide Liebert brand name or equal per FAR Clause 52.211-6 incorporated by reference. The most important characteristic for this product is the Single Line Power Supply (single feed). The design of the computer room and IT room equipment are based on a UPS with only one power supply line.

Seismic Floor Anchor Kit
1 (One) Intellislot? Relay Contact Interface Kit ? This hot-installable card provides relay contact signals for ?On Battery?, ?Low Battery?, ?On Bypass?, ?UPS Fault?, ?Summary Alarm?. Connections are to be DB25F connector with cable provided by the end user.
1 (One) Intellislot? 10/100 Mbit Ethernet OPENCOMMS WEBCARD ? This hot-installable card is the next generation SNMP card and delivers SNMP and Web management to any Liebert UPS (fitted with the card) connected to an 10 or 100 Mbit Ethernet network and provides for the in-the-field upgrade of SNMP firmware. The kit includes the Intellislot card, MIB, configuration cable and installation manual.
Alarms and parametric data are transmitted over the network using SNMP and a direct connection can be made to the UPS via a web browser.
Internal Battery System rated for 9 minutes at a 30 kVA load with the following features:
- HJ with USP12-140 Internal batteries, to save external floor space
- Internal battery system is fused and provides a disconnecting means for servicing

30kVA UPS is to be delivered to the Mount St Helens National Volcanic Monument building site located at 42218 NE Yale Bridge Road, Amboy, Washington, 98601 by no later than July 30, 2007.
PAYMENT
Payments under this project will be made in accordance with the applicable clauses and provisions listed below.

52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items
52.212-2 Evaluation-commercial Items (Offerors submitting a quote will be evaluated based on price, product quality, and proximity of parts/services for backhoe within the local area. One award will be made to the offeror providing the quote that represents the best value to the Government, all factors above taken into consideration. Offerors shall supply with their quotation all pertinent information on the product they are quoting and a list of customers who can be contacted to establish their level of satisfaction with the offerors products. Offerors should include with their quotation and product information the duration and cost of any available extended warranties as well as the location of the nearest service/parts providers. Quotations should also include the cost of delivery to the Mount St Helens National Volcanic Monument site in Amboy, WA, as well as orientation of the product to the operators.)
