Description
This announcement is for the purpose of soliciting names of firms interested in submitting a proposal on the project described below. Project Scope: A JOC (Job Order Contract) is anticipated for utilization in Al Udeid, Qatar. One indefinite d elivery/indefinite quantity contract will be awarded. Services will include repair, maintenance, and minor construction. Performance Period: Five years-One base year and four option years. Contract Amount: Estimated $5 million per year, not to exceed $25 million for the (5) year period. The guaranteed minimum amount is $500,000.00 for the base year and $250,000.00 for each option year. Contract procedures: The government will furnish two (2) copies of the CD-ROM(s) containing the official solicita tion and the Unit Price Book to prospective offerors at no charge. Paper copies of the solicitation and the additional copies of these CD-ROMs are not available. This will be a Best Value Award requiring both a price and technical proposal in hard copy. Evaluation factors will include, at a minimum, management capability, experience, past performance, and price (coefficient). Complete evaluation criteria and order of precedence will be conveyed with the solicitation document. Tentative date for issuanc e is 22 December 2007. Tentative date for receipt of proposals is 22 February 2008. Prime construction firms interested in receiving this solicitation shall address their written request to Transatlantic Programs Center, ATTN: Wilhelmina Booker, CETAC-C T-M, P.O. Box 2250, Winchester, VA 22602-1450 or faxed to 540-665-4033. The request shall state the name of the firm, mailing and shipping addresses, telephone and fax numbers, Email address, point of contact, and must reference the solicitation number. CD ROMs will only be furnished to prime construction firms. Sub-contractors and suppliers must obtain information from prime construction firms. CD ROMs will not be provided to Plans Rooms.
