STATE PARK, WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS, HANA, MAUI, HAWAII, will be received at
the DLNR, Engineering Division Office, Kalanimoku Building, Room 221, 1151
Punchbowl Street, Honolulu, Hawaii, 96813, and at the Maui Engineering Division
Office, 130 Mahalani Street, Wailuku, Maui, Hawaii, up to 2:00 p.m., June 17,
2008, at which time and place(s) they will be opened and read publicly. The
bidder shall be responsible for the prompt delivery of the proposal.
The Department of Land and Natural Resources
Interim General Conditions dated October 1994, as amended, shall be made a part
of the specifications.
Plans and specifications may be examined and
obtained at the aforesaid place.
The project is located at Waianapanapa State Park, Hana, Maui, Hawaii.
The work shall generally consist of replacing
the existing waterline and service to the restroom facilities, cabins, maintenance
building, caretaker s house, shower, water fountain and hose bibs, etc. and
related work.
The estimated cost of construction is $900,000.
A voluntary pre-bid conference will be held at,
at the Engineering Division Office, located at 1151 Punchbowl Street, Room 221, Honolulu, Hawaii 96813, on June 3, 2008 at 9:00 a.m.
Due to the nature of work contemplated, bidders
must possess a valid State Contractor's license, classification A.
The job is subject to preference for Hawaii
Products established by Section 103D, Hawaii Revised Statutes. The Hawaii
Product List may be examined at the State Procurement Office.
The award of the contract, if it be awarded,
will be subject to the availability of funds.
