The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Western Service Area is soliciting competitive proposals for Janitorial Services for the FAA Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) at the Municipal Airport in Olympia, Washington.
The Olympia ATCT and technical building consists of a total of approximately 1220 square feet of total floor space. 320 SF in the Base building, 920 square feet of floor space on six (6) floors and in the cab.
The award will have a Base Contract period of October 1, 2008 through September 30, 2009, with four (4) one (one) year option periods.
Response to the solicitation is required by 5/28/08. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments are available only on-line at http://faaco.faa.gov/
Contractors must have an active registration within the Central Contracting Registration (CCR) before the contract award can be made.

A mandatory site visit at the Olympia Tower is scheduled for May 15, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. PDT. All Offerors must attend the site visit for consideration of contract award. See section "B" or "L" of the RFO for site visit contact information.
The estimated grand total price range for the contract service period of 5 years is $50,000 to $75,000.
This action is 100% set-aside for Socially and Economically Disadvantaged Businesses (SEDB) NAICS 561720. An eligible SEDB concern is a small business concern expressly certified by the Small Business Administration (SBA) for participation in the SBA's 8(a) program and in good standing with the Small Business Administration at the time of award. Certification documents are required for award consideration.
This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises. The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts.
