No telephone requests will be accepted. PRON: AX8F5100AX, NSN: 1650-01-172-7956, PN: AA8036, Quantity: 50 each appl icable to the BJ-AH-64(APACHE), with deliveries to New Cumberland, PA. . This item is restricted to Simmons Precision Products, Cage Code 12511, and McDonald Douglas Helicopter Co., Cage Code 8V613 because the data needed to acquire this competitively, it is not physically available, it cannot be obtained economically, nor is it possible to draft adequate specifications or any other adequate, economical description of the material for a competitive solicitation. Production Lead-time without First Artic le Testing is 50 each due 60 Days After Contract Award (DACA). Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solici tations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under Standardized Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of sol icitation, however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the Agency.
