Synopsis:

The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) intends to negotiate a commercial maintenance contract for repair of Steam Sterilizers. The Government contemplates award of a Firm Fixed-Price, single or multiple award contract for the St Louis Veterans Affairs Medical Centers (VAMC) John Cochran and Jefferson Barracks Divisions St Louis MO 63125, Harry S. Truman Veterans Affairs Medical Centers (VAMC) 800 Hospital Drive Columbia, MO 65201, Colmery-ONeil Veterans Affairs Medical Centers (VAMC) 2200 SW Gage Blvd Topeka, KS 66622 and Robert J. Dole Veterans Affairs Medical Centers (VAMC) 5500 E Kellogg Ave Wichita, KS 67218 from this solicitation. There will be only one vendor awarded a contract at a single facility. The potential offeror will provide all labor, tools, parts, materials maintenance, calibration, and repairs for various types of Steam Sterilizer equipment, its accessories, and associated parts. Contract period will be for a base period beginning July 1, 2008 or date of award thru June 30, 2009 to be determined based upon award date, with four 1-year renewal option years. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 339113. The Standard Industrial Classification is 3842. The small business size standard is $500. The solicitation will be posted on or about June 10, 2008. The vendor response date will be June 27, 2008.
