The Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center is seeking potential sources to provide all supervision, labor, tools, material, equipment, and supplies necessary to check and certify sixteen (16) backflow preventers ranging in size from ten (10) inches to two (2) inches. This service is needed to prevent used water from reentering into the water supply and becoming contaminated with hazardous chemicals and bacteria. Service will include rebuilding units with parts and labor for one back flow preventer per year as designated by the COTR. Duty location will be VA Medical Center 10701 East Blvd. Cleveland, Ohio, 44106.
This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a sources sought synopsis only. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (service disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, hubzone, 8(a), small disadvantage business, small business, or large business) relative to NACIS 238220 ($13.0 million per Annum). Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Responses to this notice should include company name, a service capability statement, three customer references to which you have provided similar services to, copies of applicable licensing, product catalog, address, point of contact, and the size of your business pursuant to the following questions: (1) Is your business large or small (2) If small, does your firm qualify as a small, emerging business, or small disadvantaged business? (3) If disadvantaged, specify under which disadvantaged group and if your firm is certified under Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act? (4) Is your firm a certified hubzone firm? (5) Is your firm a woman-owned or operated business? (6) Is your firm a certified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small or Veteran Owned Small Business?
