NOTE: THE SOLICITATION AND RESULTING AWARD ARE BEING ISSUED PURSUANT TO THE SMALL BUSINESS COMPETITIVENESS DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM.



Purpose: The acquisition is for dry-dock repairs to the NPS M/V SERAC, a 53 foot Class M/V Modutec Fiberglass boat. The homeport of the SERAC is located in Seward, Alaska. The repairs are to be performed at the contractor's facility. Transportation of the craft to and from the homeport of Seward, Alaska will be at the contractor's expense.



The work items included are as follows:

BASE LINE ITEMS:1. Installation of packless shaft seals2. Realignment of propeller shafts3. Replace / repair water damaged aft deck and re-install watertight hatch4. Replace existing forward door to bow with a watertight door.

OPTIONAL LINE ITEMS:5. Repair fiberglass delaminations at aft cabin roof overhang6. Prepare and paint exterior topsides from waterline to top of vessel including all deck surfaces.
