This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Subpart 12.6 Streamline Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items and Subpart 13.5 Test Program For Certain Commercial Items of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the request for quote for the required items under solicitation number N0018908T0735. A subsequent solicitation document will be issued. FISC Norfolk intends to purchase the removal and installation of marine flooring.
(see Attachment 1 with this RFQ).
This requirement will be unrestricted. Contractors shall submit their quote to FISC Norfolk no later than 26 Sep 2008 (4:30 pm Eastern Standard Time). The period of performance is 29 Sep 08 - 31 Jan 09. All work shall be performed and completed at NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD, PIER 5, PORTSMOUTH, VA 23709.
