This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT synopsis only. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classifications (Hubzone, 8(a), small, small disadvantaged, veteran owned, service disabled veteran owned, woman owned, or large business relative to NAICS Code 562219, size standard of $11.5 Million). Responses to this sources sought synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions - see submittal requirements below. After review of the responses to this sources sought synopsis, the Government intends to publish a solicitation online at the Fedbizopps website. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not adequate response to the solicitation announcement. All interested offerors will have to respond to the solicitation announcement in addition to responding to this sources sought announcement. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network 22 Logistics Office, is seeking sources for a potential consolidated contract to provide all the necessary labor, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, transportation, and management to perform Drainage Interceptor Preventative Maintenance for the participating Southern California VA Healthcare Facilities: VA West Los Angeles Healthcare System, and VA San Diego Healthcare System. This requirement is anticipated to be a service contract for Fixture Drains/Grease Interceptors, Grease Trap Service and Drain Maintenance in various areas of both facilities. The intended contract will be for a base year with the Government's right to extend the contract in one-year increments for a possibility of up to four option years. Response to this notice must include company name, address, telephone and facsimile numbers, point of contact, email address, size classification of business pursuant to North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) and must respond to the following questions: (1) Is your business large or small? (2) If small, does your firm qualify as a small-emerging business or a small disadvantaged business? (3) If disadvantaged, specify under which disadvantaged group and if your firm is certified under Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act. (4) Is your firm a certified "Hubzone" firm? (5) Is your firm a woman-owned or operated business? (6) Is your firm a certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned or Veteran Owned business? This is not a request for proposal and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract. Responses to this notice shall be mailed, emailed or faxed to the attention of Richard A.
