Combined Synopsis/Solicitation-F1S0AX7333B001
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-23 and DFARs Change Notice (DCN) 2008-01-24. NAICS is 811219 with a small business size standard of $6,500,000 annual revenue. Solicitation is for commercial purchase.
This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside.
AFFTC/PKE, Edwards Air Force Base, CA is seeking potential sources capable of providing a: 12-month EXTENDED WARRANTY for PC Image Generators, operated by the Electronic Warfare Group. The manufacturer of the Generators is Quantum 3D.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. This warranty shall cover government owned equipment.
--Extended Warranty (Quantity: 2- total) for two PC Image Generators. Warranty covers
the Quantum 3D IDX 2500 Series 8-Channel PC Image Generators.
-- The PC Image Generators are used to drive the 360 degree "out the window" field of view graphics for the F-35 Manned Flight Simulators currently supporting the Joint Strike Fighter and Lockheed Martin programs.
2. The contractor shall troubleshoot and repair the defective hardware on two (2) PC Image Generators, or part thereof, or deliver equivalent replacements. The Contractor shall provide the following service for the two (2) each Quantum 3D, IDX Series, Image Generators:
-Parts
-Labor
-Licensing
-Software updates of all new releases for the period of performance 01 Feb 2008 through 31 Jan 2009.
