Synopsis:

The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport intends to award an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity type contract with firm fixed price provisions to D.G. O?Brien, Inc., Seabrook, NH on a sole source basis for engineering and technical services, evaluations, repairs and fabrication of Mast Connectors, Dip Loop Cable Assemblies and Subsafe Hull Penetrators. D. G. O?Brien, Inc. is the sole manufacturer and distributor of the Dip Loop/Hull Pen/J-Box, a vital part of the SUBHDR system. The period of performance is two years from date of contract award. This contract will allow for up to ten Test, Inspect & Evaluation; Repair, Restoration and Upgrade; and Replace and Procure on Mast Connectors and Dip Loop Cable Assemblies. It will allow for up to ten Test, Inspect & Evaluation; Repair, Restoration and Upgrade; and five Replace and Procure on Hull Penetrators. Also, the estimated Level of effort for the Technical Interchange Meetings (TIM) is 4,083 man-hours. Estimated request for proposal release of 2008 MAR 30 or sooner.
