Description
The National Gallery of seeking interested contractors to provide for various electrical services, including repairs, modifications, and new construction, by means of an indefinite quantity contract.     The contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, equipment, materials, tools, supervision, and management required to the electrical services contracted. The electrical work includes high voltage, 600 to 14.8KV; low voltage, 120VAC ? 480VAC; some DC circuits and systems associated with the control circuitry of high voltage switchgear, electrical generators and automatic transfer switches, etc. The electrical systems include but are not limited to lighting, power circuitry, transformers, motors, load centers, panel boards, magnetic starters, fused disconnect switches and electrical control circuitry systems. This solicitation is anticipated to lead to the award of multiple IDIQ contracts to those contractors considered to be best qualified to perform and accomplish the work identified within the Request for Proposal. The IDIQ contract will be awarded with a base period of one year and four option year periods executed at the discretion of the National Gallery of Art. The IDIQ minimum amount awarded will be the first task order negotiated and awarded to each selected contractor, with a maximum possible award of $5M between all selected contractors over the life of this procurement action, which is five years. The locations work is anticipated to occur in is the National Gallery of Art complex located between 3rd and 9th Street NW between Constitution and Madison Avenue, the two NGA leased administrative office spaces located at 601 Pennsylvania Avenue NW; both within Washington, DC, and the National Gallery of Art warehouse complex located in Landover, MD. The solicitation will released on January 17, 2007 for thirty (30) calendar days. All responses will be due on February 15, 2007.
