Description
Notice of intent to negotiate a sole source contract with Nevada Department of Transportation to provide routine and emergency maintenance for NOAA-owned weather radio (NWR) transmitter systems located at Cave Mountain, Prospect Peak (Reno) and Cory Peak / TV Hill (Hawthorne,NV). Provide radio vault space, tower spaces and AC service for NWS-owned NWR transmitter system,, provide microwave service between Elko and Winnemucca Mnt., Elko to Cave Mnt., and Prospect Peak (Reno) to Corey Peak / TV Hill (Hawthorne, NV). Authority for proposed acquisition if FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supply or service will satisfy agency needs. The period of performance is for one year from date of award. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within fifteen days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. This is a simplified acquisition with an estimated value of less than $100,000
