The purpose of this modification is to change the response date.

National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration?s Marine Operations Center ? Pacific has a requirement to provide all facilities, supervision, Material, and labor necessary to perform repairs and modifications to NOAA Vessel DAVID STARR JORDAN at its home port at the Scripps Mimitz Marine Facility, 297 Rosecrans St., San Diego, California. The work consist     of but is not limited tot eh following:     overhaul purifiers, clean Ventilation, modify davit hydraulic, pump repair, steel repairs, miscellaneous piping repair, replace exterior ladder handrails, and overhaul air compressor. Additional work may include scientific freezer door repair, inspect anchor windlass, repair hydrographic winch levelwind, replace bulkhead panel, and overhaul standby, CPP pumps. The vessel will be available for inspection December 18-19, 2007 at its home port Scripps Mimitz Marine Facility, 297 Rosecrans St., San Diego, California (MARFAC).

Any further announcements regarding this solicitation will be posted only at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/.
