Description
THIS IS FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY, NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE OR SOLICITATION. The Food and Drug Administration, Jefferson Laboratories, in Jefferson, Arkansas, is seeking small business sources, including service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, HUBZone small businesses, and 8(a) certified companies capable of providing the following services and supplies.
The government anticipates to award one (1) preventative maintenance contract for an ultra pure laboratory deionized water system. The system is an alchemy brand high purity water system. Source must have a field office located within 65 miles of the Arkansas Regional Laboratory staffed by certified water technologist with the capability to respond on site at ARL (3900 NCTR Rd, Jefferson, AR 72079) within 2 hours.
Maintenance agreement and supplies include:
1. Twice per month maintenance visit to monitor the DI water system. visits to include:
a. Review of operators log book
b. System feed water chemistry
c. Pump
d. Multimedia filter
e. Activated carbon filter
f. Water softener
g. Reverse osmosis
h. Ultraviolet
i. Storage tank and accessories
j. Service deionization
k. Control panel
l. Alarm/condition response
m. Operating sequence response
n. Instrument operation
o. Distribution loop
2. potential supplies ordered on an as needed basis:
a. Change carbon tanks
b. Change DI tanks
c. Replace .1 micron filter
d. Replace .2 micron filter
e. Replace UV lamps
f. Replace UV quartz sleeves
g. Replace tank vent filter
h. Yearly system sanitization using ozone gas system
i. Water softening salt
j. Service reverse osmosis unit/membrane cleaning
k. Replace multimedia cartridge
l. Provide water analysis for heavy metals.
3. Allen Bradley equipment repairs contracted with an Allen Bradley technician.
Potential contractors must indicate business size and proof of any set-aside certification and provide a contact name, the mailing address, phone number and email address of point of contact. Capability statements must reference similar work that has been performed by the contractor in the last three (3) years, a description of the work performed and contact information for references knowledgeable about the quality of the work completed. Capability statement must provide the location of the contractor's field office and provide qualifications for key personnel.
