Synopsis:

The Fleet Industrial Supply Center (FISC), Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia Division intends to acquire maintenance services for AGFA Healthcare Corporation digital imaging equipment and its parts located at the following locations: Portsmouth, NH Naval Branch Health Care; Brunswick, ME Naval Branch Health Care; Newport, RI Naval Branch Health Care; Groton, CT Naval Ambulatory Care Center, Groton, CT. This Contract covers the Government owned ADC&IMPAC; Systems at the above-mentioned sites.
This is a sole source action to be awarded as a contract to AGFA Healthcare Corporation, Ridgefield Park, NJ. AGFA is the original manufacturer of the digital imaging equipment and its parts and therefore is the only firm that is authorized to supply services to the equipment. This contract is a follow-on to contract# N00189-07-P-Z501. FISCs intent is to issue a firm fixed price contract in accordance with FAR 12 (Commercial Items) and FAR 13.5 (Test Program for Certain Commercial Items) procedures. The Period of Performance is from 01 October 2008 through 30 September 2009 with four one-year options. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302.
