DESC: 5977-00-929-8328, Part Number 10942107, The item to procure is a Electrical Contact Segment (5977-00-929-8328) F/M109 is laminated plastic part or molded resin material with integrally bus bars imbedded. Other special processes are silver and rhodium plating. The part has 54 inch radius with an approximate 77 degree segment X 0.75 inches thick X 4.0 inches wide. Requirements are 65 each for the Segment, Ring, Electric and the proposed contract will include 2-100 percent options. The proposed contract is a 100% small business set-aside. FOB is Destination. For use on the M109 Howitzer. Estimated issue date is 07/18/08. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided.
