Office of Chief Counsel - CLE Exhibit Hall Opportunity
On August 12-14, 2008, the Office of Chief Counsel will hold a continuing legal education event at the Marriott Atlanta Marquis located in Atlanta, Georgia attended by over 1,500 attorneys/paralegals in our organization. An exhibit hall will be a feature of this event. Through this announcement, we are offering a limited number of exhibit hall spaces (between 10 and 14 spaces) measuring approximately 10 feet by 10 feet to technology companies to showcase their products and services that may prove useful to attorneys in the practice of tax law. There is no cost or fee for an exhibitor to attend this event. However, our office will not provide the selected exhibitors any reimbursement for travel, and/or other expenses associated with participating in this event. Exhibitors will be expected to provide their own equipment, and we will try to accommodate other needs within the resources available.
Interested exhibitors should submit a letter of interest, including a brief summary of the product/service that is proposed for the event, and mail the package to:

Packages from interested exhibitors will be accepted until April 29, 2008. The first 10 to 14 technology companies (depending on available space) to provide a response to this letter and whose products and services will be useful to attorneys in the Office of Chief Counsel will be invited to set up an exhibit at our CLE. Selected exhibitors will be contacted as soon as possible by a member of the Chief Counsel Exhibit Hall Committee after the closing date for submissions. Selection as an exhibitor does not imply an endorsement of the product or service by the Office of Chief Counsel. Further, selection as an exhibitor does not imply that the Office of Chief Counsel has a current or prospective need for the exhibited products and services.
Do not contact Ms. Jodie Paustian. Mr. Thomas Oertel is the official point of contact. Please submit your interest to Mr. Oertel via mail or e:mail.
