The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) under the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with 2998 Stemmons Freeway LP, pursuant to 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 -- Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This announcement constitutes the only notice; a written solicitation will not be issued.
USCIS has a requirement for additional parking spaces in the vicinity of the Life Act Building at 3010 N. Stemmons Freeway, Dallas TX 75247, for the period of 06/19/2008 through 10/31/2008. The building is located on the Interstate 35E, northbound service road. The road has no sidewalks to allow customers to walk to the USCIS building. The parking area must be close enough to allow customers to park and walk to the USCIS office without crossing or walking on any roads which would increase the threat of a vehicular accident.
Respond to this requirement by submitting written capabilities/specifications to the Contract Specialist. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all response received by 12:00 p.m. Eastern June 18, 2008 will be considered by the Government for a determination by the Government whether a competitive procurement is feasible.
