NAICS Code: 541380 NAICS Code:541380 The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Office of Acquisition Management, Headquarters, Emergency Response Service Center, Mail Code 3805R, 1200 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20460 intends to award a sole source order to ThomsonHealthcare Inc, located in Greenwood Village, Colorado, based on the authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 6.302-1 for the following items: One (1) REPRORISK System; One (1) TOMES Plus System and Sixty (60) TOMES Plus (R) and REPRORISK (R) systems. The TOMES Plus (R) Interactive System, REPRORISK (R) System (internet access) combined with the TOMES Plus (R) System for a personal computer version offer a collection of 16 proprietary and licensed databases expertly assembled to provide quick and easy access to medical hazard and environmental information vital to the safe management and handling of chemicals. The data system will provide EPA's On-Scene-Coordinators, toxicologists and other federal health experts with ready access to chemical specific information, critical safety data and emergency medical recommendations to facilitate decision making during federal disasters, environmental emergency responses, and other CERCLA removal actions. This system is critial to rapid toxicological evaluation and will provide the risk assessors and site safety managers ready access to address regional and national environmental health and safety issues. The services to EPA provided by the TOMES Plus (R) Interactive System are unique, providing field accessible information and research capability. The availability of this type of field accessible information and research capability has not been found with any other vendor nor any other competitor which resembles this application. MICROMEDEX provides EPA with unlimited internet access and is in the process of being renewed. MICROMEDEX is the preferred source available for this product in this format. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 541380.
